Stainless Steel Angle Bars are L-shaped solid metal cross-sections. Typically manufactured through a hot-rolling process, they offer a seamless, unified structure with an exact 90-degree angle. Their design provides excellent rigidity, torsion resistance, and corrosion protection, making them indispensable for structural support and heavy industrial fabrication.
Hot Rolled vs. Folded Angles
- Hot Rolled Angle (True Angle): The industry standard for load-bearing structures. The inner corner features a slight fillet radius, which effectively distributes physical stress and prevents cracking under heavy loads, performing much better than folded sheets.
- Pressed/Folded Angle: A custom-made service where flat sheets are folded into an L-shape. Ideal for non-structural trim work, custom unequal lengths, or specific thin gauges not available as hot-rolled bars.
