Boiler Plate (or PVQ Plate) is a high-quality carbon steel plate intended primarily for service in welded pressure vessels where moderate to lower temperature notch toughness is important. We supply premium grades that meet global safety standards.
Standards & Grades:
- ASTM A516 / ASME SA516 Grade 70: The most widely used grade for moderate to lower-temperature service. It offers an excellent combination of strength, weldability, and toughness.
- Normalized Condition: Many of our thicker plates are supplied in the normalized condition to ensure finer grain structure and improved impact resistance.

- Thickness: 6.0 mm – 50.0 mm (Thicker plates upon request)
- Standard Size: 5' x 20' (1524 x 6096 mm) – Reduces welding seams for large tanks.
