High-Performance Stainless Steel Tubes for Heat Exchangers, Condensers, & Boilers

As professionals working with steam systems, industrial boilers, or heat exchangers, we strictly emphasize: "Never use decorative or general-purpose stainless steel tubes (ASTM A554) in pressure systems." A554 tubes are engineered solely for furniture and architectural trims; they do not undergo solution annealing or hydrostatic pressure testing. Under high thermal loads and pressure, general-purpose tubes will crack, leak, or fail catastrophically.

Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger & Boiler Tubes (ASTM A213 / ASTM A249) supplied by Trinity Dynamic are manufactured under the most rigorous metallurgical standards to guarantee absolute safety and peak thermal efficiency:

  • Solution Annealed to Ensure Ductility: Every tube is heat-treated to relieve all internal residual stresses. This guarantees high material ductility, allowing you to perform precise U-bending (U-Tubes) or expand the tubes into the tube-sheet without any risk of cracking or premature stress corrosion.
  • 100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Every tube undergoes 100% Eddy Current testing and Hydrostatic pressure testing at the mill. This guarantees zero micro-cracks, pinholes, or sub-surface weld defects that are invisible to the naked eye.
  • Extremely Tight Tolerances: Strict control over outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness according to international standards, ensuring a perfect fit and seal with your boiler shell or condenser sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Absolutely not. ASTM A554 is strictly a decorative and structural specification (e.g., for furniture or handrails). It does not undergo solution annealing or hydrostatic pressure testing. Using A554 in heat exchangers exposes your system to severe risks of cracking, rupture, and explosive failure under thermal stress. ASTM A249 and A213 are fully annealed and tested for high-pressure safety.
We stock TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L, and the high-temperature grade TP310S. For general piping systems, low-carbon 'L' grades (304L, 316L) are highly recommended because they resist intergranular corrosion at weld joints. For critical, high-heat applications exceeding 800°C to 1100°C, Grade TP310S is required.
Eddy Current Testing is a highly precise, non-destructive test (NDT) that uses electromagnetic induction to detect subsurface cracks, voids, or weld seams defects that are entirely invisible to the naked eye. Every single heat exchanger tube we deliver undergoes 100% Eddy Current and Hydrostatic pressure testing at the mill to guarantee zero-leak safety.
Seamless (A213) tubes have no weld seams, making them the classic choice for extreme high-pressures and maximum safety. Welded (A249) tubes, however, are roll-formed from precise flat sheets, meaning they offer highly uniform wall thickness and better heat transfer efficiency. With modern weld-bead removal technology, A249 welded tubes are highly cost-effective and perform very close to seamless tubes in most applications.
Yes, they can! Because all our tubes undergo a complete Solution Annealing heat-treatment process, they possess excellent material ductility. This ensures they can be smoothly U-bent (U-Tubes) or expanded (beaded/rolled) into your condenser tube sheets without any risk of edge cracking or material failure.
Yes, 100%. Every shipment of our boiler and heat exchanger tubes includes a comprehensive Mill Test Certificate (MTC) and a Material Test Report (MTR). These documents detail chemical compositions, tensile strength, and the results of Eddy Current and Hydrostatic testing. We also offer custom length cutting and secure nationwide delivery across Thailand.
